Waterjet Cutting

Intec's laser profiling service is complimented on site by our comprehensive water jet cutting process that can be used to undertake burr free profiling of almost all materials. Our machine is equipped with a twin head system to enable us to cut parts simultaneously thus reducing costs and lead time to our customers.

The range of materials which can be processed is almost infinite but most commonly used in engineering are stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, nickel alloys, titanium, armour plate, rubber, marble and granite, all of which can be profiled in thickness up to 125mm.

The process of water jet cutting is clean, dust and fume free and leaves no unwanted thermal damage to the cut edge or heat affected zone which proves essential to components produced for industries such as aerospace. The finish produced usually requires no further secondary operations.
